In order to qualify as an AUP summer student, visitors must enroll in at least 4 credits. Students may register for the term or an Immersion session.

Given the increased pace and number of class hours per week, you may only register for two courses.

Students could enroll in FR 125 at 6 credits plus MA 120, a 4-credit course, for a total of 10 credits. Scheduling permitting, one could add a 1-credit FR course. A maximum of 11 credits can be earned during summer.

*July 17 is the AUP Housing checkout date. Students who complete their academic requirements on July 16 or July 17 may leave campus earlier.

Summer Term courses meet as follows:

- Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday sessions for two-hour periods.

- Tuesday and Friday sessions for three-hour periods.

- Period B3 courses may have one additional Saturday session class that meets on June 12th.

Please note that several courses have course-specific meeting times (French conversation, Science, MA 120, etc.).

Please see each course description for exact times.

Schedules for French Immersion are found in those sections.

AUP Session courses are adapted from the regular AUP curriculum to fit the intensive 7-week structure. They are offered for academic credit in the U.S. university system. Courses numbered 100 to 299 are generally introductory courses designed for Freshmen and Sophomores (first and second year of the four-year undergraduate cycle). Courses numbered 300 and above are principally for Juniors and Seniors (third and fourth year undergraduates).

Enrollment can require prior successful completion of prerequisite courses, as indicated. Please see each course description for its required prerequisite courses.

Please consult your academic advisor at your home institution concerning the equivalent of prerequisites, and contact the AUP Summer Term Coordinator for any further questions: summer@aup.edu.

Courses listed with two department codes (e.g., BA/EC 373) can be taken for credit in either department.
