Reza Faiz started teaching mathematics and science courses at AUP in 1986. Prior to that he taught engineering at The University of Rhode Island and The Iran University of Science and Technology. In 1982 he co-founded Iran Construction Research, a consulting engineering firm in Tehran which is still in operation. He has developed a passion for astronomy and is interested in how scientific concepts can best be communicated to non-scientists.
